Gertrude Beebiscuit

Gertrude BeeBiscuit is an 88 year old widow from a town north of the Titan's Teeth, in the Riverlands, called Ravenswood. It is a port town, nestled where a river meets the sea.

Ravenswood is named after the human family who runs it. Her family is currently on good terms with them as they are the main leaders of agriculture both in and out of Ravenswood. Their biggest export is corn and wheat.

She ran a family bakery named The Bee’s Knees for many years with her husband Wulfram, until his death at the age of 91. A few years ago, she opened a Bistro section run by Stump, a catfolk man who came to her bakery and fell in love with the food.

Her son Walric went off adventuring, and would often sent back letters or gifts. But after some time, the letters stopped. Gertrude believed he was dead, but then started hearing whispers in her head, telling her to travel south. The rest of her family believed she had gone a bit crazy from grief, but Kaitlyn and Julia, her two daughters, agreed to take over the bakery, so their mama could follow “the voice”.

Gertrude took a boat to Merterra, and from there travelled to Circle Creek and has now joined the Horde. Stump has since followed her there. Gertrude has a bee familiar called HoneyBiscuit, and hopes that her time in the Horde will give her the contacts and skills to find out what happened to Walric.
