Anowon spent far too long in Merterra being a con artist. While he was there, he got involved with some students from the Magus Gamana - students who were playing with… some dodgy magics. Anowon took to some of these magics, despite not being a student himself. Things got interesting - interesting enough that he decided to get out of town for a while.
Deciding that monster hunting would be both more profitable and better for the soul, he travelled north to Circle Creek, following rumours of a guild of adventurers.
